reshaping the future of acting education & training
Whether you're just starting out or looking to level up your acting game, our courses are designed to boost your confidence and hone your skills in a fun, supportive environment.
PROCESS Drama Club provides practical tools and professional insights to get actors set ready for the world of entertainment.
Founded by BBC EastEnders actors Stevie Basaula and Zack Morris, PROCESS Drama Club is all about preparing young actors for professional sets by equipping them with hands-on tools and theoretical knowledge.
We bring our Screen Acting Course directly into schools, running over a full term with two 2-hour sessions per week, totalling 24 hours of expert coaching. This course is designed for students in Years 9-13 (Key Stage 3 to A-Level).
We also offer a 6-week version of the course as part of our Out-of-School Programme, open to under-25s with clubs in London, Hertfordshire, and Essex.
All of our courses reflect the standards of working actors. We don't just teach acting, we prepare students to thrive in real film and TV environments.
These are practical, career-focused skills rarely taught in traditional drama classes—but essential for anyone aiming to work professionally in the industry.
The course is spread over a 6-week period, with 2 masterclasses a week. Each class lasts 2 hours; totalling 24 hours of coaching.
In this Act, we'll explore the foundational essentials of acting, emphasising their importance and frequent application. Sharpening these skills is invaluable, as they are crucial at every stage of an actor's career.
Auditioning in the room and self-taping are a fundamental part of being an actor. At PROCESS, we break down all the steps from receiving the audition brief, to flawlessly prepping your work, to then executing it like a pro. Self-taping has become the most common form of audition. One of our main objectives is to help students develop their own self-taping process to maximise their chances in securing a job. In our sessions we don't just teach students how to carry out a performance without compromise, but also how to enjoy themselves when recording in front of a camera.
In this act, students will immerse themselves in a mock set environment complete with lights, cameras, and props, providing a hands-on experience of what a day on set is really like. Screen acting isn't just about performance—it's equally important to understand set etiquette and develop technical awareness, one of the most essential skills for an actor. Students will collaborate in groups, alternating between being in front of and behind the camera. This unique experience offers valuable insight into both acting and the roles of a film crew, helping students understand the dynamics of a professional film set and the other careers available.
Our final act focuses on the business side of the industry. We cover key topics such as securing an agent, managing finances, handling taxes, and staying proactive between jobs. To provide deeper insight, our coaches will host a Q&A session with a leading agent and a financial specialist, offering students the chance to address any remaining questions about navigating the process of being a working actor.

Co-Founder & Coach, PROCESS Drama Club
Zack wanted to start PROCESS to inspire the next generation of talent and teach the industry knowledge that is expected of you as you begin working. Zack successfully turned his passion into a career at 9 years old. He began his early training at Sylvia Young Theatre school and was awarded a full scholarship to train full time at D&B Academy of Performing Arts as a teenager.
Although having formal training, it was his on-set experiences, working on various film and television productions, that opened his eyes to the realities of being a working actor. Learning these things first hand stuck with him as he grew older with his career. This cited a passion to impart his knowledge with other young, aspiring actors who will find themselves in a similar position.
He aims for PROCESS Drama Club to be a place where actors can be optimistic, prepared and excited for their long-standing career.
Previous on-screen work includes Eastenders (BBC), Goosebumps (Disney+), The Bluff (AGBO), The Pitt (HBO MAX), Jericho Ridge (DogEatDog Productions), One Night (BBC), The Fades (BBC). West End Productions including: Oliver!, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
